Digital copy services sponsorship

I had tried to gain the university copy centre as a sponsor however this was rejected due to their financial constraints. I will try again but ask for less printouts or ask them what they can afford. Mariana has kindly suggested that she maybe able to use a small amount of the department budget towards printing but this has not been confirmed.

  1. Hi Savva,
I spoke with Jo and she told me that unfortunately this year no money is going to be given for printing. So I'm afraid you will have to start thinking with the rest of the group (try Teresa, probably she won't run out of ideas) how to get some money towards your exhibition. Fortunately, Daniel has done great sorting part of the problem of producing props in a very cheap way. I think they work and they really look amazing. I'm afraid we will have to start thinking of ideas to make some money in case you have last minute emergencies. If not, organize the whole group in such a way they all give £5 or £10 pounds for you to have and pay for the cost of... lets start from the beginning: with the printing of invitations. I know you have been particularly busy lately, but maybe is just a matter of sitting in class with your group and make a list of all the possible spending you will do in the future. Now that you have a list of prices from the copy centre, see how much will you end up spending and ask the group to, between all of you, get the money. If not, and if there is a brave person in the class, see if you can organize an event or sell cakes, etc. Annoying, I know, but we all have to do it at least once in our students' lives.
